**The Arrow series is my personal favorite, been a great lover of adventure, action, thrill, and drama this series has satisfied its viewer in each and every aspect.** The sequence where his father kills himself takes place in the first season of the series and actually it’s the part of **Oliver’s origin story.**

**So Oliver along with her girlfriend Sarah decides to go on a trip in the Pacific Ocean but in between due to storm the ship gets wrecked** and somehow Oliver his father and the captain of the boat manages to survive on the lifeboat.

**Oliver’s father on the lifeboat realized that the food and other resources aren’t enough for the three of them to survive as there were no signs of any Islands or a land.** His father wanted his son to live and that’s why he shoots the captain and **then sacrifices his life by shooting himself.** **Later Oliver somehow manages to survive and finds an Island named Lian Yu and then the story of Arrow series continues further.**
