**Hobbies** and **Interests** have a very fine difference between them- *things which you want to do in your leisure time; which have nothing to do with your education* are your hobbies. Whereas interests are t*hings which you enjoy doing despite your free time- you love to talk about them; show them to others and you can easily pursue them.* **For example-**

- Someone loves to readand write in their free time so they could **read anything of their interest.** Thus, **reading is their hobby and reading something of a specific genre is their interest.**
- Similarly, suppose there is a **software engineer** whose **hobby is photography-** now if you ask him to work for 12 hours straight for you without getting paid then it would be really difficult for him. But if you ask him to do a photography session without being paid, he may do it happily. This is the difference between hobby and interest.

Thus, according to me, **one must pursue what interests them the most as a career**, and if they align their hobby with it and get paid for it then it is good. But even if not then, **they may enjoy their hobby after work/studies during their leisure time. It will help them relax and stay sane.** \
