If you are planning to Visit India in November, their are couple of options like Himachal Pradesh if you like mountains, If you like Sea Side then Goa is also a Good option, if you are looking for a cultural side of india then would suggest Rajisthan. I came across a site that give a good information on different places in India. My all time preference would be Chitkul in Himachal Pradesh.
