**Anil Kumar Prakash holds the national record in 100m sprint running at 10:30 seconds. And not only in the 100m sprint running as he holds the national record in 200m sprinted running too with a finishing time of 20.73 seconds.**

He **made this record in the year 1999 and won the silver medal in the International Circuit Meet at Chennai** by finishing on 2nd position to Chintaka de Zoysa and six years after he set the benchmarks of 100m sprint running at 10:33 seconds he once again **reaffirmed that he is the king of track for India as again in 2005 he finished the dash in 10.30 seconds at National Circuit Athletic.**
