The **International Textiles Expo has now ended as it was scheduled for 3 days and was held in Sri Lankan Capital Colombo.** Started on 21st February 2018 the India International Textiles Expo was organized by Powerloom Development & Export Promotion Council (PDEXCIL) **with the support of Union Ministry of Textiles & Ministry of Commerce & Industry, Government of India (GoI).**

Dr. Sarath Amunugama, Minister of Special Assignments of Sri Lanka was the chief guest for the inauguration ceremony. **In the event, there were around 45 exhibitors from various textile clusters of India were displaying a variety of fabrics, home textiles, traditional items etc.** It was really special and a moment of proud to see the products of reputed Indian textile companies under one roof.\
