**Iran** has effectively test-terminated maritime strike ballistic rocket "**Hormuz 2**", which is planned to hit moving target adrift with high precision and has a scope of almost **300 kilometers** (186 miles) .

The rocket is fundamentally the same as against send Khalij-e-Fars (Persian Gulf) ballistic rocket in appearance.

**Defence Minister Brigadier General Hossein Dehqan** cautioned that Iran's cautious military power would find the adversaries napping in case of a hostility against the Islamic Republic.
