**The primary focus of the "Khelo India-Play India scheme" is to enhance and groom up the whole scenario of sports system in our country which will include infrastructure up-gradation, community sports, talent identification, coaching for excellence, competition structure, and sports economy.**

According to reports, the whole scheme **will cost Indian government around Rs 1,756 crore between 2017-18 and 2019-20.** \

It is an unprecedented scheme **which will give opportunities to qualify 1000 talented** and young athletes each and every year across all sports and get chance to enhance their sport under high-end professionals and proper facilities.

The **government has planned to cover up around 200 million children who are in the age group of 10-18 for a massive physical fitness driv**e which will not just look their physical fitness but will also support their fitness-related activities.
