**Sudha Karmarkar (83)**, the veteran theater craftsman, **executive**, and **pioneer of Children's Theater** in **Maharashtra**, has passed away in **Mumbai** on **5th of February, 2018**. **Karmarkar** established the kids' theatre in Mumbai which is known as '**Bal Rangbhumi-Little Theater**' and coordinated different plays for youngsters. She coordinated the plays as well as acted in the plays. She started the development of **Little Theater** in **1959** with **Madhu Manjiri** the primary ever youngsters' show and from that point forward the kids in over three decades delighted in the plays which were genuinely implied for them. Numerous stars in Marathi film and stage industry developed through this development.
