DASTAK is a programme which is in association with UNICEF to eradicate deadly Acute Encephalitis Syndrome (AES) and Japanise Encephalitis (JE) disease in the state. \

## Darwaja khatkhatao, AES aur JE ko bhagao is the war cry of DASTAK.

The whole state machinery with the help of **UNICEF** will now really go door to door in **38 JES and AE dominanace districts** which mostly fall in the Tarai region of the state which contributes to about 60% of the total AES cases all over the country under the DASTAK campaign. \
In this huge and vast campaign, many departments of the state especially rural development , health,primary education will work together to spread awareness about the diseases through mass media communication, provide initiate sanitation drive, clean drinking water, ensure vaccination and early treatment so that disease should be finished in the starting. of 600 schools Children will also be part of this campaign in the affected areas. \
**This campaign is run to save the life of humans who get affected by these disease as they are very harmful.** If this disease is captured it takes the live. As it is communicable disease so communicate very fastly to one another and Uttar Pradesh started taking action against this disease by the **programme name DASTAK**. \
