**Mahila Samridhi Yojna is the program which aims the promotion of saving among rural women.** The program was officially started by central government (Ministry of Social Justice and Empowerment) **National Backward Classes Finance and Development Corporation (NBCFDC)** to provide Micro Finance to women entrepreneur Self Help Groups (SHGs) belonging to the target group means backward classes for the empowerment of women.

**Major benefits of Mahila Samridhi Yojna:**

- Each beneficiary women would get maximum up to Rs. 50,000 as a loan for entrepreneurship\
- NBCFDC will provide 95% of amount for business startup and rest 5% has to contribute to SCA (state channelizing agencies) or beneficiary\
- Loan is to be repaid in quarterly installments within 48 months (including the moratorium period of six months on the recovery of principal)\
