P.T Usha officially got associated with Indian athletics in 1979. **There are reasons why she is been renowned as the queen of tracks and “Payyoli Express” is because for almost 2 decades she was on the top of his game and she ruled the track.** \

In the year **1986, she solely brought 5 medals for our country in which there were 4 gold medals.** By achieving this amazing milestone she became a trendsetter for girls all over India.\

- Tried the 400m for the first time at the 1983 Asian Track and Field Meet (re-christened as the Asian championship) at Kuwait. She emerged successfully
