## French as an official language!

Well, **French** was known to be the official language of **Pondicherry**, which came into the authorization during the **Treaty of Cession** in the year of **1956**. The **Puducherry Official Language Act, 1965** unknowingly mentioning **French** added **Telugu**, **Tamil** and **Malayalam** to the list for Official Language including **English** as well.
