A region with minimal precipitation, less than 250 mm per annum. Approximately measuring over earth around 1/3rd part of the land over the earth is covered with the desert. Differentiating in the type of deserts based on their geographical scenario:

**3.** Cold Winter Desert

**4.** Cool Coastal Desert
