The one who has been selected for the new chairman post of the International Association of Athletics Federations (IAAF) Athletes’ Commissionis the high-jumper from Slovenia, **Rozle Prezelj.** He replaced **Namibian Frank Fredericks**. \
**Prezelj was born in Maribor**, and represented Slovenia at the Summer Olympics of the years 2004, 2008 and 2012. His best performed at the 2008 Olympics where he was at 12th place in high jump. \
**His father Dušan** was also a greta athelete. He has been called as a decathlete with a high jump personal best of 2.15 m (1976), **his mother Stanka** a two time Yugoslavian champion with a personal best of 1.86 m (1981). \
