## *Money can you shorter penalties even on big charges.*

\
Let me justify this statement. Often we hear about some politician/Bollywood star’s kid getting away easily after committing a crime. A crime could be as heinous as murder or offending someone’s modesty. But nobody questions them easily. Even if they do, the rich are laid-off as “privileged hain…Jaane do” \
**Why?** What is the famous stigma that we carry in our minds about the rich? \

## Here are a few of them:

• The rich have greater accessibility and reach to the law. They have connections, they know sources. That’s why they do get off the hook easily. \
• They pay huge compensation and liability fees whenever they commit a crime. No one knows what happens behind the bars with the rich and they are bailed out in the blink of an eye. \
• They not only have connections with impactful sources but also with the police. They might be sent to custody but are given bail sooner than enough. \
• Even if they are held guilty in court, they have a huge amount of money to deposit to the lawyers for setting them free. \
\
**It’s not like the rich get off easily every time, but mostly they do. And when it happens, it hampers the justice and social fabric of society.** \
