**Sohaib Akhtar holds the record of [fastest bowler](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/48291/who-is-the-fastest-bowler-to-take-100-wickets-in-odi) in the cricket history,** he was one of the lead bowlers till the time he played Pakistan national team and he achieved **this milestone in 2003 world cup** playing a match against England when he bowled a ball with **a staggering speed of 100.23 mph.**
