**OHA** or Open Handset Alliance is an **association** of almost 84 companies which includes Google, LG, Samsung, Motorola, Intel, Sony, Qualcomm, etc which provide open standards for mobile devices.

**oha** was established 5th, November 2007 along with 34 members and **Google** as a lead which includes handset makers, application developers, mobile carriers and chip makers. having **android** as the flagship software of the alliance which competed with the makers such as Apple, Nokia(Symbian), blackberry, Microsoft.
