**The Ministry of External Affairs** (**MEA**) is currently more people-oriented and offers priority to safeguarding Indian nationals stranded abroad, which was not the case before, **External Affairs Minister Sushma Swaraj** said on **27th of August 2017** subsequent to initiating the nation's first **Videsh Bhavan**, which is situated in the **Bandra Kurla Complex** (**BKC**), Videsh Bhavan coordinates all workplaces under the MEA in the State.
