## Climate Resilience Building among Farmers through Crop Residue Management!

The project named as “**Climate Resilience Building among Farmers through Crop Residue Management**”, has been launched by the **Union Ministry of Environment** under the guidance of under **National Adaptation Fund for Climate Change** (**NAFCC**). The project was launched on **28th of December, 2017** which was been legalized during the meeting with the **National Steering Committee on Climate Change** (**NSCCC**) under the guidance of **Mr. C.K Mishra**, **the chairmanship of Secretary**, **Ministry of Environment**, **Forest and Climate Change**.

The initial phase of the project has been approved at a budget of **Rs.100 Crores** funded by the collaboration of **Uttar Pradesh**, **Rajasthan**, **Haryana** and **Punjab Government**. This project has an objective of climate mitigation and enhancing the capacity including the severe impact of the changing climate that might lead to burning.
