**Jai Ram Thakur has been appointed as the new Chief Minister** of Himachal Pradesh. Jai Ram Thakur was born on January 6, 1965, he is an India politician who is now the 13th Chief Minister of Himachal Pradesh.

He was elected as BJP party leader on 24th of this month Jai Ram Thakur has been an MLA in Himachal Pradesh previously and he has also served as the Cabinet Minister in BJP government.
