**Ahmedabad is [declared as](https://www.mindstick.com/interview/2711/what-if-the-main-method-is-declared-as-private) India’s First World Heritage City.** Ahmedabad is around 600 hundred old and it was founded by Ahmed Shah and now recognizing its heritage value it is been declared as India’s First World **Heritage City by UNESCO.**

**The information was announced by the World Heritage Committee of UNESCO** also our permanent **representative to UNESCO Ruchira Kamboj took her twitter handle to share this amazing news**. She tweeted “Thrilled to announce! Ahmedabad has just been declared India’s first #WorldHeritage city. \
**Well, there were Mumbai and Delhi too in the race,** however, Ahmedabad nomination got huge support and was being selected over Mumbai and Delhi.
