**Milkha Singh led Indian in the 1956 Olympics which was held in Melbourne and consecutive Olympics which were held in 1960 and 1964.** Milkha Singh has also been awarded the India's fourth-highest civilian honor Padma Shri. His final race in the finals of **1960 Rome Olympics was the most controversial and the most remembered race.** \
