X equals three. (5*3 = 15. 15 + 5 = 20) A different approach involves subtracting 5 from both sides of the equation, then dividing the equation by 5. Afterwards, you are left with the value of X. 5x+5=20 (given) 5x=15 (subtract 5 from both sides) x=3 (divide both sides by 5, get answer)

Given that,

a=b=5,

i.e. A=5 and b=5,

and also value of c is 20.

Now we put all values into following equation.

=> ax+b=c

=>5 x+5=20

=>5x=20-5

=>5 x=15

=> x=15/5

=> x=3.

Ans: The value of x is 3.
