**Street harassment is basically a form of sexual harassment it consists of practices which are illegal** and are against **community guidelines** such as **leering, sexist, groping, sexual assault, rape, comments, and demands, following, flashing, homophobic or transphobic slurs etc.**

**Laws against street harassment in India** **Section 354 D IPC** states stalking a girl is an offense did by a man who is practicing things **like following her or trying to get her personal information** even after knowing that the particular women are disinterested. This section also states about cyberstalking which means it’s illegal to stalk a woman via using social media platforms, etc. \
**Under Section 354 C IPC**, voyeurism is considered as an offense by **a man who watches or captures the image of** a woman engaging **in a private act** in circumstances where she would not want to get observed. \
