A **Server OS** is a type of **Operating System** which is designed to run on the **Server Computers** Only. Server Computers are designed to take request from **client** computers on the **network** they follow **client/server architecture**. The **server operating** system is the **software** layer on top of which other software **programs/applications** can run on the **server hardware**.
