Digital Video Disc or DVD was developed by Sony, Philips, Toshiba, and Panasonic used as the storage disc by digital means and was launched in **1995**. This medium is been used to store variants of digitally encrypted data and is extremely used for video files, software and other computer related files or programs as they offered high capacity of storage.
