**Mumbai** is the first Indian City to have **Wi-Fi connectivity in public spaces.** With over **500 hotspots spread** wide across the area. This whole project cost 194 crore Maharashtra government. This service was free for a month. The **CM itself took to Twitter** to share this information for **Mumbaikars** announcing “happy to launch phase 1 in Mumbai “.

This service is free for browsing and downloading up to **100mb** after that a user will be charged at a specific rate. \
