Drinking has become one of the favorite pastimes in today’s society. Virtually every occasion needs an individual to consume alcohol, at times of happiness, sadness, excitement, sickness, etc. After the consumption of heavy alcohol the next morning a person experiences dullness, headache or any kind of sickness that’s what hangover is all about.

The difference between **Hangover** and **Hangout** is:

- **Hangover** → A feeling of sickness, headache, and discomfort after drinking too much alcohol.

   - *Example:* *I have a terrible hangover after last night’s party.*

- **Hangout** → A place where people spend time together or the act of casually meeting up.

   - *Example:* *Let’s hang out at the coffee shop this evening.*

So, **"hangover"** is a consequence of drinking too much, while **"hangout"** is about socializing or spending time somewhere.
