It is one of the most popular **bhajan** it is considered that it was the favourite song of **Mahatma Gandhi**. **Lakshmanacharya** was the writer and the bhajan was composed by **Pandit Vishnu digambar paluskar**. The lyrics was inspired from **“Shri Rama Ramaynam”.**
