**Memorandum of Understanding** (**MoU**) was signed between **Samsung India** and **IIT-Kharagpur** for setting up a digital academy. The training on the **Internet of Things** (**IoT**) would be given to the students to train them over this by setting up the **Samsung Innovation Lab** within the campus with the help of the **Department of Computer Science and Engineering** through **Tizen-based working frameworks**, ordinarily utilized by the organization for its cell phones and home machines. The institute was a piece of Samsung's corporate social activity that goes for crossing over the advanced separation in the nation by giving aptitudes to understudies on forefront innovation, Through this association with IIT-KGP, the foundation wanted to prepare more than 100 understudies in the following three years. The course would be instructed more than **14 weeks** through classroom addresses, assignments, lab room sessions, self-study and little ventures.
