Emil **was born** on **23 July 1884,** he was **theatre actor** and later became a renowned personality of the film world. Emil was German actor and got fame in **Hollywood industry** in the year 1920, he is the only German actor who has won **Oscar award.** \
The first **Oscar** was held in Hollywood on 16 may, 1929. At that, there was no broadcasting done and the invited guest was also very limited as there were only 270 guests present there. \
