**ASP uses VBScript for coding purpose** but ASP.NET allow the programmers to **use C#, VB.NET and other programming languages.** ASP.NET allow the users to **follow the concept of object-oriented programming language** and also **provide the permission to access different tools** which comes in .NET Framework. **ASP.NET has followed the rule of markup language** and also add several controls to develop any application or projects.\
