# How Did the Green Revolution Affect Small Farmers in India?

Accounts of India’s [Green Revolution](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/39440/what-was-the-main-objective-of-green-revolution-in-india) often focus on higher crop yields and food security. I’m curious about how those changes played out for small farmers, especially in regions where access to irrigation, credit, and new seeds varied widely.
