# Why Do LinkedIn Connection Requests Disappear Before I Can Accept Them?

I sometimes see a LinkedIn connection request in a notification, but when I open the app, it is no longer in the list. This has happened on both desktop and mobile, and I’m not sure whether the sender withdrew it or LinkedIn removed it.
