# Should Each Product Color Have Its Own URL or Share One Product Page?

For an online store, I’m unsure how to handle products with several colors and sizes. Right now, selecting a color changes the image and availability on the same page, but the store platform can also create a separate URL for each option.

Would separate **product variant URLs** help shoppers land directly on the version they want from search, or would they create thin, near-duplicate pages that are harder to manage? I’m particularly interested in how this affects inventory changes, page titles, and search results when most of the description is identical.

How do you decide whether color and size options deserve their own indexable pages?
