# Why Does My Phone Camera Take Blurry Photos Indoors?

Photos from my phone look sharp outside, but indoors they often come out soft, especially when someone in the frame is moving. The camera app says the image is focused, so I’m not sure whether this is a focus issue or just a limitation of shooting in a dim room.

Does the phone camera focus differently in low light, or is the blur more likely caused by movement during the shot? I’d like to understand what to look for before deciding whether the camera has a hardware problem.
