# What Does “Crawled – Currently Not Indexed” Mean for a New Page?

Search Console says Google crawled one of my recently published pages but has not indexed it. The page is accessible, has no noindex tag, and is linked from elsewhere on the site.

How should I interpret this status? I’m trying to understand whether it can be a normal delay, a sign that Google sees the page as low-value or duplicative, or something else in the page’s setup. What checks have helped you figure out which case applies?
