# Why Does LinkedIn Show the Wrong Image in a Link Preview?

I updated the featured image on a page, but when I paste its URL into a LinkedIn post, the old image still appears. The page itself shows the new image, and the URL hasn’t changed.

How does LinkedIn refresh a **[LinkedIn link preview](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/117874/why-does-linkedin-still-show-the-old-image-after-i-update-a-link-preview)**? Is there a way to check which image it has cached, or does the preview update on its own after some time?
