# Can AI Overviews Reduce Organic Clicks Even When Rankings Stay the Same?

Has anyone else seen search impressions hold steady while organic clicks fall after Google started showing AI Overviews for more queries? I’m trying to work out whether the overview is answering the question before people visit the listed pages, or whether something else—like a change in search intent or the result layout—is affecting clicks.
