# How Should I Review Code Written by an AI Assistant?

I’ve started using an AI coding assistant for small features, and the code often looks tidy at first glance. That makes it tempting to accept a suggestion after a quick test, even when I haven’t fully traced how it handles unusual inputs or permissions.

What review habits help catch problems that ordinary happy-path tests miss? I’m especially interested in a practical **security review for generated code**—what to inspect manually, what tests to add, and when a suggestion should simply be rewritten.
