# Can Perplexity’s Citations Stay Accurate After a Webpage Changes?

When a source changes, how should readers judge whether the cited passage still supports the answer? I’m also curious whether **[Perplexity citations](https://www.mindstick.com/forum/162273/how-much-do-you-trust-perplexitys-citations)** point to the exact information used or simply to a relevant page, and what’s a sensible way to verify a claim that matters.
