# Why Are LinkedIn Video Captions Out of Sync After Upload?

I uploaded a short video to LinkedIn, and the captions look fine in the editor. Once the post is live, though, they appear a little late compared with the speech. The original file plays normally on my computer.

Has anyone figured out what causes **LinkedIn video captions** to drift after upload? I’m wondering whether it could be the subtitle file’s timing, the video’s frame rate, or something LinkedIn changes during processing.
