# Why Does My Facebook Marketplace Listing Get Views but No Messages?

I’m getting views on a Facebook Marketplace listing, but hardly anyone contacts me. The price seems reasonable compared with similar items nearby, and I’ve included the condition and pickup area in the description.

Could the problem be the first photo, the listing category, or how the price appears in search? I’m trying to work out whether Marketplace listing photos and wording make a bigger difference than timing, or if there are other common reasons people look and move on.
