# Can I Move an eSIM to a New Phone Without Contacting My Carrier?

I’m replacing my phone and want to keep the same number, but I’m not sure whether my eSIM can simply be transferred during setup. Does the process depend on the phone brand, carrier, or whether I still have the old device?
