# Should Product Pages for Different Sizes Use Separate Canonical URLs?

Our product pages have separate URLs for each size, but most of the copy is identical. The price and stock status can differ, and the selected size is reflected in the page, so I’m unsure whether these count as genuinely separate pages for search engines.

Would you set a **[canonical URL](https://www.mindstick.com/blog/305064/what-is-a-canonical-url-how-to-fix-canonical-issue)** on every size page pointing to the main product page, or keep each URL self-canonical so shoppers can land directly on the size they want? I’m especially interested in how this affects products where some sizes regularly sell out.
