# Why Does Facebook Ads Manager Show Conversions That I Can’t Find in Analytics?

Ads Manager is reporting purchases from a [Facebook campaign](https://www.mindstick.com/news/989/international-discomfort-campaign-facebook-removed-a-false-swiss-scientist-account), but the same dates in my website analytics show few or no purchases from paid social. I’ve checked that both tools are using the right time zone, but the totals still don’t line up.

When you see a gap like this, what should you compare first: the attribution window, pixel and Conversions API events, or the way each platform credits a conversion? I’m interested in how other marketers work out whether the campaign is actually driving sales.
