# How Is a Cricket Target Revised When Rain Interrupts a T20 Match?

I understand the basic idea that a rain interruption can reduce the overs available to the team batting second, but I’m less clear on how the revised target is calculated in a T20 match. If play stops more than once, does each interruption change the target again?

How does the method account for wickets already lost and the overs remaining, and why can the revised target sometimes feel steeper than simply subtracting runs per over?
