# What Can Keep a Crawled Page Out of Google’s Index?

Search Console says several of my site’s pages have been crawled, but they’re still listed as not indexed. They aren’t blocked in robots.txt, and I can open them normally. I’m trying to understand what Google may be evaluating after it has fetched a page.

When investigating a **crawled but not indexed** URL, which checks have you found most useful? I’m looking at content overlap and internal links, but I’m not sure how to tell whether the issue is page quality, duplication, or something technical.
