# What Changed for Indian Farmers After the Green Revolution?

The [Green Revolution](https://answers.mindstick.com/qa/62205/who-brought-green-revolution-in-india) is often described as a major turning point in Indian agriculture, especially because food-grain production rose sharply. But its effects did not seem identical across every region or group of farmers.
