# How Much Should I Rewrite an AI Draft Before Publishing It Under My Name?

I’ve started using AI to get past blank-page paralysis, but the first draft often sounds smoother than it sounds like me. I can fix factual errors and edit the wording, yet I’m not sure where useful assistance ends and a piece stops being genuinely mine.

How do you decide what needs a full rewrite versus a careful edit? I’d also like to hear how people handle disclosure when AI helped with the outline or an early draft.
